The story behind the stories

Some books start at home. These two began as love letters to my own children — one for my little artist, one for my basketball lover — and grew into stories for any kid learning that being brave and being nervous can live in the same heartbeat.

They don't share a plot. They share a heart, and a mom who wrote each one for a specific child she loves — and for yours, too.
